Lars van de Goor was born in 1964 in The Netherlands, in a houseboat, next to a farm, located between lakes and meadows. His first passion was music, the latest photography and editing. In a way he is still composing. Soon after starting with photography in 2007, Lars’ images started to get noticed and gained in popularity over the years. Only four years later he was nominated as a top ten finalist in the 2010 Hasselblad Masters Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the world of photography.
Now for the second time he is a top ten finalist in the Hasselblad Masters Categorie Landscape/Nature. Today, he works as a professional photographer, publishing his work worldwide. “My main goal is still where it once started with – to capture nature’s magical moments and show her beauty to as many people as possible.”
“With my images and my way of editing, I hope to inspire people to go to the forests, revalue the woods and experience the wonder of something that has become too ordinary.”
