WARRANTY STATEMENT

Hasselblad is devoted to providing the finest medium format camera equipment for photographers all around the globe seeking to capture their creative vision. The Hasselblad product you have purchased has gone through rigorous development, testing and production processes in order to be held at a high standard and meet your needs. Proper care will extend the life of your Hasselblad equipment.

Please save your purchase receipt and any relevant paperwork for your Hasselblad product as proof of purchase for any future service inquiries.

The following policy terms do not affect other rights that consumers are entitled to under their local law.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

We gladly provide returns in any of the following circumstances that occur within 14 calendar days starting from the receipt date of your product:

(a) The product has manufacturing defects or fails to function.
(b) The product is unopened and has not been used.

Unfortunately, Hasselblad cannot provide returns in any of the following circumstances:

(a) The request for return is submitted after 14 calendar days.
(b) The returned product is not in its original packaging with all accessories, battery, charger, cables, SD cards and manuals present.
(c) Hasselblad identifies, through evaluation and testing, that the manufacturing defect(s) or functional problems have been caused by man-made factors or there are no quality issues in the product.
(d) No original proof of purchase is provided, or the proof of purchase is forged or altered.
(e) The products were damaged in transit but not rejected upon receiving the products.
(f) Products that are damaged due to external forces such as fire, floods, lightning strikes, traffic accidents, etc.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

We will gladly provide you with a replacement under any of the following circumstances that occur within 30 calendar days from the date of receiving the product:

(a) The product has manufacturing defects or fails to function.
(b) The product has been damaged in transit and has been rejected upon receiving the product, and a certificate confirming the damages has been issued by the logistics company.
(c) The wrong product is received or it is clearly inconsistent with the description of the product.
(d) There are functional issues caused by manufacturing defects found in the replacement product within 30 calendar days of receiving the product.

Note: The warranty period of the replacement starts from the date of receiving the replaced product.

Hasselblad is not able to provide a replacement in any of the following circumstances:

(a) The request for a replacement is submitted after 30 calendar days from the date receiving the product. 
(b) The returned product is not in its original packaging with all accessories, battery, charger, cables, SD cards, and manuals present. 
(c) Hasselblad identifies, through evaluation and testing, that the manufacturing defect(s) or functional problems have been caused by man-made factors or there are no quality issues found with the product.
(d) No original proof of purchase is provided, or the proof of purchase is forged or altered.
(e) The product is found damaged in transit, but it has not been rejected upon receipt, or no certificate confirming the damages has been issued by the logistics company.
(f) Accessories are missing from the package contents but Hasselblad is not contacted by the customer after receiving the product.
(g) Products that are damaged due to external forces such as fire, floods, lightning strikes, traffic accidents, etc.

WARRANTY POLICY

Hasselblad will gladly repair or replace your product if we identify, through inspection or testing, that your product fails to function properly due to poor materials, workmanship, or any other such causes, aside from collision, water damage, or unauthorized disassembly of the product.

Please note that different series have varying warranty periods. You can find the details in the Warranty Duration Chart.

Hasselblad is unable to provide a free warranty for your product if any of the following circumstances exist:

(a) The damage is caused by scratches or unauthorized cleaning and polishing.
(b) The damage is a result from external forces, dirt, sand, moisture, water, battery leakage, improper handling, tampering, or services performed by unauthorized persons or third-party equipment.
(c) Preventive maintenance has not been performed on the scanners according to the warning messages prompted by FlexColor.(d) The product is found damaged in transit, but it is not rejected on delivery or no certificate confirming damages is issued by the logistics company.
(e) The failure is caused by Force Majeure, including natural disasters, abnormal voltages, and/or other external reasons.
(f) The damage is caused by failure to correctly fit, use, and operate the product according to the product instructions.
(g) The product serial number is torn up or altered.
(h) No original proof of purchase is provided.
(i) Any wear and scratch damage does not affect the performance of the product.

OTHER PRECAUTIONS

1. Failure to submit requests within the aforementioned period will be deemed as a waiver of your right to return/replace the product, unless you can clearly and sufficiently prove to us that you are not able to submit the request in a timely manner due to extraordinary circumstances.

2. If you need to repair your product or use other services, please contact the Hasselblad Partner who originally delivered the product. Failure to comply with this can lead to charges for shipping and/or repair.

3. We support repair services at Hasselblad service centers in the areas of the country/region where you have purchased the product. If you take your product to service centers in another country for repair, you will be responsible for all repair costs.

4. We support the return or replacement of products only in the original country or region of purchase.

5. Where any of the original accessories of products returned to Hasselblad for replacement is missing (except for those that are immediately lost upon unpacking), we are entitled to reject your replacement request or charge corresponding fees which can be exempted if you provide the missing accessories.

Hasselblad reserves the final right of interpretation for the above service policy.
