A CELEBRATION OF FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Hasselblad Heroines shines a light on talented female photographers from around the globe as they make their mark in the photographic industry. Through these spotlights, each Heroine shares their experiences in their career, challenges they've encountered in a typically male-dominated industry and inspiration in their art through short video interviews.
By putting a spotlight on these creatives, Hasselblad Heroines hopes to encourage the next generation of female photographers to go against the grain and bring their creative visions to life.

Bara's surreal images balance on the edge of beauty and weirdness, in between real and fictional setups. Constantly creating outlets form which she builds new realities, Bara is bringing her creative visions to life.

Italian fine art photographer, Chiara Zonca, is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and explores some of Earth’s most unique landscapes, capturing forms and shapes that feel out of this world.
Julia Fullerton-Batten is a worldwide acclaimed and exhibited fine-art photographer. Known for her choice of curious locations, inventive concepts, relatable subjects, and distinctive cinematic lighting techniques, Julia’s images draw the viewer to take more than a second look.
Swee's visual world is deeply influenced by how she uses light, form, shadows, and textures. From traditional cityscapes to abstract breakdowns of skyscrapers, Swee Oh sees the city through a different lens.
