Namibia

The Spirit of the Desert

APRIL 5 – 15, 2018
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

Few places in Africa can match Namibia’s sheer natural beauty. The country is named after the world’s oldest desert, the Namib. It is a world filled with fantastic sights from the deserted colonial ghost towns and shipwreck-filled coasts to the magnificence of giant sand dunes plunging down to the ocean. Skeleton trees, dolorite rocks and moonscape light-conditions are all part of what awaits you. Think "desert spirit" and Namibia is the land that comes to mind.

You will learn how to approach the unique challenges of landscape photography. Tom D. Jones will use his experience from his many years of professional work to help you maximize your photographic opportunities with landscape photography.
