Hasselblad R&D is a joint department, that consists of teams based on specific technical fields: hardware, firmware, software, image quality, optics, mechanics, and QA/test. Each team not only conducts its daily operations independently but also collaborates with the other teams as well as different sites and partners around the globe. We are now looking for a driven and innovative camera software engineer to join our R&D software team located in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will focus on USB and Wi-Fi connectivity and the basic camera control workflow. General handling of TIFF based raw image files can also be involved. A large part of the code will be C++ and common for all platforms.
- Camera control general workflow and protocols
- Specific USB and TCP/IP implementations
- Internal tools
- Experience with USB and/or TCP/IP based protocols
- Ability to write and understand good modern C++ code
- Good team player
- Fluent English
- Desire to create quality products
- Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, electronics or similar
Beneficial experiences are also included:
- Knowledge of Xcode and/or Visual Studio
- Familiarity with Objective-C and Swift
- Previous experience with hardware support applications on the relevant platforms
- Experience with the TIFF image format
