Hasselblad’s Limited Warranty Statement
Hasselblad warrants the purchaser of this product that it will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from delivery.
Accessories such as, but not limited to, link cables and consumables such as, but not limited to, rechargeable batteries are not covered by this warranty. If the product fails to function because of defects in workmanship or materials, Hasselblad will repair the product free of charge. The product must be returned to an authorised Hasselblad Partner (dealer, distributor, service workshop), who will take care of the repair.
Please note that the product must be returned to the Hasselblad Partner who originally delivered the product. Failure to comply with this can lead to charges for shipping and/or repair. Please save your original receipt as the proof of purchase of your Hasselblad product. Residents of North, Middle, and South America must read the separate warranty statement.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, dirt, water, battery leakage, tampering or service performed by unauthorised persons. Further, the warranty does not cover scanners on which preventive maintenance has not been performed according to the warning messages prompted by FlexColor (related to the number of scans performed).
This warranty is limited to the undertaking set out above regarding repair of non-conforming products. The purchaser shall not under any circumstances be entitled to any damages or compensation.
This warranty does not affect the purchaser’s legal rights as a consumer pursuant to mandatory consumer law statutes.
