Andy Fallon — In tune with the times

As with many things today, it might seem that the very latest developments are naturally the best choice. In the real world, however, that isn’t always how everybody thinks. There are reasons why it might be more beneficial to cherry-pick so that things specifically suit you and your ways of working. Photography is no exception.

Andy Fallon, in his early thirties, is among possibly the last generation of photographers whose careers started as ‘film’ assistants. Having a passion for cameras from an early age and working with local newspapers before going to college, Andy’s future as a photographer was really settled when a week-long work placement from college turned into a month-long trip taking in Paris, Milan and New York with fashion photographer Robert Fairer.
