Derek Makishima who was the Hasselblad Ambassador of 2015 demonstrated the new camera, in cooperation with Eizo monitors and Broncolor utilizing their renowned Para 88 and various soft boxes.  To represent the strength of medium format in studio, in particular the iconic Hasselblad natural color solution, Hasselblad Japan set up a variety of basic studio scenarios working in collaboration with artists from a range of disciplines.

To show the ability within the studio environment, Hasselblad Japan collaborate with the artists from different disciplines to prepare the sitters for this specific occasion. Make-up artist Rhiannon dressed herself in the Japanese Lolita costume with the artistic makeup, in contrast, hair salon Coge took a traditional yet modern approach to the coming of age wardrobe, hair and makeup. As a demonstration of product photography a variety of still life’s were created: a traditional fruit basket, and flower coordinator Sengoku Honke did the live flower arrangement performance.  During the session, Derek allowed the audience members to experience in their familiar studio setting. The rare combination of ease of use, comfort and most importantly performance that Hasselblad cameras deliver to its usersThe audience was amazed by the details and beautifully smooth colors which captured by H6D, almost as if it’s a scientific illustration.
