On the 14th & 15th October 2016, Hasselblad Japan jointly hosted the high-end photographic equipment show Photo EDGE Tokyo 2016 in collaboration with the professional photographer’s magazine Commercial Photo and the other photographic equipment companies including Phase One Japan, Profoto, Broncolor. Total number of 11 professional photography related equipment companies participated this event and it was held in the Image Studio 109 in Yotsuya, Tokyo.

The event specifically designed for the professional photographers in the industry. Every company represented their latest products and selected items which designed for the professional use. Through out the event, each company had an opportunity to do presentation about their products in details, and also runs seminars by the practicing commercial or advertisement photographers. The guests are welcome to try the cameras and the light equipments from different companies in the studio setting at the touch and try section.

Hasselblad represent H6D series as the flagship model and the accessories for H system, as well as H5X, H5D-200cMS and the latest X1D-50c

Hasselblad Japan organized the seminar by Sails Chong, who is the Hasselblad Ambassador and also well known as one of the influential wedding photographer based in China. Chong showed his experience on working with Hasselblad camera and how his work flow had been changed through using Hasselblad camera’s image making systems.

Sails Chong’s images are enlarged and displayed at the entrance to welcome the guests, and also used as sample images to print by the Epson’s printer at the Epson’s exhibition space within the show.

In addition to this, the Hasselblad Ambassador Taka Mayumi had answered to our interview at the Hasselblad Japan’s talk show, and he described about his experience on working with the camera, especially with H6D-50c.
