Benjamin Antony Monn was born in Munich in 1978, this German photographer was an assistant to Mike Detter, Stefan May and several international photographers. Benjamin Antony Monn served his formal photographic apprenticeship at the Monika Sedlmayer Art in Action Studio. Since 2003, he has been a professional photographer in the fields of architecture, interiors and portraits.

Monn is founder of the Candela Project, an initiative to fund projects in developing countries through photographic exhibitions. He worked as a documentary photographer in Africa forfour months in 2004 and on the palace hotels of Rajasthan in 2006.
