Public Vote Open Now

This year’s competition featured 11 categories and received a record breaking 31,500 entries. The number of participating photographers has seen an increase of 175% this year compared to the last Masters Awards which took place in 2016. Countries with the highest number of contributors include the UK, USA, Russia, India and Germany.

Selecting just 10 finalists for each category has been a very difficult task, with the standard being extremely high.

Now, it is your turn to take part in selecting the next Hasselblad Masters.

Hasselblad Masters are judged on their photographic ability, creativity, compositional skills, conceptual strength and technique – and are acknowledged to have made a compelling contribution to the art of photography. Winners will be announced in January 2018. The winners will not only receive the coveted accolade but will take home a state of the art medium format Hasselblad camera and have their work published in the Hasselblad Masters commemorative book, to be launched in 2018.
