Luanne (Buchanan) Arant is a fine art photographer and printmaker. Her love of photography started at a very young age when her parents gave her, her first camera. At the age of 8 she was composing impressive shots of the aftermath of the 1964 tsunami in Port Albernie. While studying photography at Malaspina University in Nanaimo, BC, she learned the fine are of printmaking. She won an award from the Nanaimo Art Gallery for her photo of Quebec City. This photo is part of the galleries permanent collection.
Currently Luanne is exploring the back roads of New England and upstate New York with her husband and her Hassie.
