Chris was born in Jarrow, England in 1967. After leaving School at 15 Chris had numerous jobs before taking a Degree in Photography at Trent Polytechnic. Supporting himself first as a Photojournalist and more recently as a Commercial Photographer Chris has also found time to study for a Masters Degree at the Royal college of Art.
Chris´ personal work has been exhibited at the Arles photography Festival, France, The Imperial War Museum, London and many other venues around the world.
Chris´ work has most recently been exhibited at the Tate Gallery in London as part of the show, “How We Are”, Photographing Britain, 1839 to the present. He Lives with his family in a little yellow house in the woods outside of Oslo.
